Killing Time in Little Cayman
Re-purposing plastic drinking bottles in Little Cayman. Rather than sending them to the landfill, I use the bottoms as planters and Save the tops for a vertical garden. All of these plants, duppy bush, sea-prape, red birch, century plant, and leaf of life, are indigenous to this island and can survive for long periods without water. Now that the rainy season is upon us, it is a great time to look for sprouting plants or seeds and start your own little garden.
